This project was to redo some cabinetry for a a laundry room. The bank on the left has a pull out drawer base, about 8″ high, with a larger cabinet in the middle, about 60″ high for taller storeage for things like laundry baskets, vacuum, mop, etc; topped with a 36″ high cabinet. This bank is 24″ deep. The cabinets above the machines are each 36″ high x 27″ wide x 16″ deep with one adjustable shelf though there is room for two, if needed. The sink vanity is 41″ x 27″ with a custom ambrosia maple top and back splash finished with Sutherland Welles tung oil varnish, low lustre. The cabinets are painted in Benjamin Moore Simply White as per customer spec. The insides are finished with multiple coats of blond shellac. The case work is a mixture of 3/4″ maple plywood and solid maple for the face frames and doors. I use 1/2″ ply for the backs on my cabinets. The doors are inset style, with 1″ thick rails and stiles and 1/2″ thick panel with simple flat panels in a shaker style. They are substantial. Blum face frame inset hinges; Blum drawer slides. I don’t recall the brand of the hardware for the pulls. They are a brushed brass. The sink is a 31″ wide white quartz top mount. The faucet (Kohler brand) is in a brushed brass/gold to match the other hardware. Two drying racks were installed, one above the sink, the other to the right which is out of frame in the photo above.
